Happy Birthday, Trevor!!

Last week was Trevor's birthday. You can see we have a run of birthdays in our family. Hannah's birthday was one week after Trevor's. This will be the beginning of a new chapter for Trevor--a new house! Over the years, Trevor's smile has been so fun! We love you, Trev!!

Lilli's new sweater

Here's a cute picture of the sweater I just finished for Lilli. Silly grandma, I was concentrating so hard on knitting the band on the sweater as I went that I forgot the buttonholes. Some of my knitting friends recommended velcro. But as you can see, a busy little girl doesn't like to close her sweater. Grandma might have to come up with another idea. The sweater is made from a pattern by Minnow Knits and is knit with Plymouth Cotton. Lilli is at the stage of selecting her own outfits every day. This was her "outfit for the day". Grandma especially likes that she thought the sweater smelled good!!

Baby Kaelyn Getting So Big!

Just like her daddy, Kaelyn loves sitting in the Johnny Jumpup. Here she is hanging out and smiling for the camera. Over four months, she is smiling and laughing and enjoying life!!

Happy Birthday Nate!

Today, my "baby" is turning 24! This makes me feel very old!! I know Nate is very busy with school and his new "CD" project but I want him to know how glad I am for the last 24 years. I remember those early preschool years when we had fun going to the grocery--Aldi's. He liked to box the food. Also our days meeting Grandma Ritchie at Shoney's for breakfast. Through the years, our good friend, Kendra, nicknamed Nate, "caboose man," being the last of four children. I think being #4 has developed many useful traits, such as the ability to "go with the flow". But also sometimes Nate got "short-changed" on attention. Today we are proud of the creative and fun personality of our "caboose man". The world needs our Nathanedwin! Have a great day--we love you.

Welcome CAPP128 students

In my word processing class, we are exploring the world of blogging (web logs). My students have all created their own personal blogs. During the semester, I hope they add to their blogs and explore the adventure of keeping a web journal. Happy blogging!!
